Glaucoma Care & Monitoring

Glaucoma is a group of conditions that can damage the optic nerve over time, often without noticeable symptoms in the early stages. Our team uses advanced diagnostic tools, such as intraocular pressure testing, visual field assessments, and retinal imaging, to detect signs of glaucoma and monitor your condition closely.

We’ll help you understand your results, walk you through your options, and coordinate with other care providers when needed. If you’ve been diagnosed with or are at risk for glaucoma, regular eye exams are one of the most important tools in managing it.

Managing Macular Degeneration

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) affects the retina's central portion, which can lead to vision loss. While it can’t be reversed, early detection and proper management can help slow its progression.

We screen for wet and dry forms of AMD and provide ongoing support tailored to your risk factors and lifestyle. We’ll explain what we’re seeing, how it affects your vision, and how to monitor for any changes between visits.

Cataract Evaluation & Co-Management

Cataracts occur when the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy, typically because of aging. Over time, this can affect your ability to see clearly, especially in low light or bright glare.

We track cataract development during your annual eye exams and can advise when it may be time to consider surgical correction. If surgery is needed, our team will co-manage your care in coordination with your surgeon, providing pre-operative measurements, post-operative follow-ups, and support.

Diabetic Eye Exams & Ongoing Support

Diabetes can affect the blood vessels in the retina, sometimes without early warning signs. Regular diabetic eye exams help us catch complications such as diabetic retinopathy before they cause changes to your vision.

We offer dilated retinal exams, digital imaging, and personalized monitoring to support your ongoing health. If you have diabetes, we recommend a comprehensive exam at least once a year, even if your vision seems stable.
